Snakes have a distinct behavior called ecdysis, a process of shedding their outer layer of skin. During this process, the snake leaves the old skin behind. The abandoned skin becomes evidence of the past of the snake. Inspired by the natural transformation of snakes, I created a scroll of a snake shedding its skin. It's a reminder to be mindful of the present moment since the past always leaves its trace behind.
